About The Travel Trailer Guide

A year long wait for our travel trailer lead to a huge spreadsheet of travel trailer options. I've turned this into my ultimate guide to travel trailers that weigh less than 5000 lbs GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating - Don't know what that is? Check out our definitions post). I've done hundreds of hours of research on travel trailers so that you don't have to! Currently the guide includes over 90 trailer models and over 30 different brands. This guide is free to use, let us know what you think!
Here are some screen shots from the guide to get a sense of how it works. You can also see it in action in the video linked to our how to pick a travel trailer blog post.
All the trailers in this guide are less than 5000 lbs GVWR and less than 23 feet long (many are much less than this). Almost all of them sleep 3 or more, with a couple of exceptions that were so cute I included them anyway. Most of them have bathrooms of some kind. If you are looking for a small travel trailer, this guide is for you.
This guide is divided into sections so you can easily filter by the following criteria:
-
Campers that can be towed by a tow vehicle with a rating of 3500lbs (or less in some cases)
-
Campers that can fit in a regular garage
-
Campers with a black water tank (indoor flush toilet/showers)
-
Campers that met the Outdoors Made Simple family criteria (<2800lbs GVWR, Inside Toilet/shower, sleeps 4)
-
Campers that sleep 4 or Campers that sleep more than 4
